Emily T. Stewart, N.P.

Emily Stewart was born and raised in Somerset, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor’s degree in science and nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2001. After graduation, Emily relocated to Nashville and gained experience as a cardiac nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Wanting to further her education, Emily decided to attend the family nurse practitioner program at Belmont University. She graduated with honors in 2005, and became a board certified family nurse practitioner. She remained in the field of cardiology for four years. After having her first child, who suffers from eczema, Emily became very interested in the field of Dermatology. She joined Franklin Dermatology Group in October 2009. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association, Tennessee Nurses Association, and the Dermatology Nurses Association’s Nurse Practitioner Society.

Emily resides in Brentwood with her husband Brent, who manages the Brentwood family owned business. They have two daughters, Gretta-Kate and Temple. Away from work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, shopping and UK basketball. Go Cats!
